Newbie. Is this correct?

I just purchased the Seasons Manager and standing at LOWS, I have the feeling something's not right here.

The snow map (and looking outside my window) show no snow in Germany as of today.
But the sim shows a strange snow-less patch and apart from that snow everywhere. Is this just the top-view or is something wrong here?

Okay, I think it sorted itself out.
The textures update themselves while flying (didn't know this) so while heading into the area that looked snowy, it wasn't when I reached it.
Seems like it's depicted correctly Thanks!
